Kick and Twitch links are accepted on the free trial at 1 credit per source minute, the same as everything else. Pulling an HLS VOD genuinely costs us more, and that used to be passed on as a 1.5x rate; it no longer is. Nothing is locked behind a plan — you can find out whether the clips are any good before you decide anything.
What Momevera does differently with the footage
Two things, and both are about restraint rather than more features.
The cut lands on a sentence. The clip starts at the setup and ends after the payoff. A final sentence that is a question, or that trails off on and or because, is treated as a setup and the clip is extended or dropped. A laugh landing within two seconds of the payoff is included rather than cut away from. The length you ask for is satisfied by moving to a different sentence boundary, never by cutting at an arbitrary offset — the full rule set is written out here.
A weak stream returns fewer clips. Candidates are scored against an absolute quality floor, not rescaled to fill a flattering range. If only five windows in your VOD clear the bar, you get five clips and the results page tells you how many cleared it, rather than twelve clips where seven are padding.

- Resolved against the source at render time: a source no wider than the target has nothing to crop away, so it fits rather than zooming in.
Where the crop sits is measured from the footage, not assumed. When the motion evidence is weak the frame stays centred instead of drifting on noise, and a re-target has to hold for a beat and then glides over about nine tenths of a second rather than snapping — a crop that re-centres on every frame reads as a camera operator having a panic attack.
What you get, and what you do not
- You get: 9:16 mp4s, word-by-word burned captions, per-clip Hook / Flow / Ending scores, SRT and VTT subtitle files, an XML export for Premiere or DaVinci on every plan, and a per-platform post kit of caption and tags. 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9 are on the paid plans.
- You do not get: scheduling or auto-posting to any network. It does not exist and is not queued behind a label.
- You do not get: a rating, a review count or a customer number on this site, because there is no honest one to publish yet.
- You keep: ownership of everything you upload and everything rendered from it. The privacy page sets out who your video is sent to and why.

Questions, answered
Does Kick work on the free trial?
Yes. kick.com links are accepted on every plan including the free tier, the same as YouTube and Twitch, and they cost the same: 1 credit per source minute on every platform. Kick used to carry a 1.5x rate and no longer does.
Do I have to clip it on Kick first?
No. Paste the past-broadcast URL and Momevera pulls it, transcribes the whole thing and picks the moments itself. kick.com and www.kick.com are accepted, matched as exact hosts.
Does a Kick VOD cost more than a YouTube one?
No — a Kick minute and a YouTube minute both cost 1 credit, on every plan including the free tier. Kick VODs are genuinely more expensive to fetch: many thousands of HLS segments pulled individually rather than one progressive file, routinely hours long, and more likely to stall partway and need retrying. That used to be charged as a 1.5x rate and no longer is. Kick and Twitch are priced exactly like everything else.
How long a stream can I give it?
There is a configured ceiling on source length per video — the pricing page states the value this deployment runs with, because it is an operator setting rather than a literal in the marketing copy. For anything longer, select a processing window over the part you want; the minimum window is one minute and you are only charged for the window.
Will the clips have a watermark?
No. Exports carry no watermark on any tier, including the free one. What the free tier caps is resolution: 720p, against 1080p or up to 4K on paid plans depending on the tier — never upscaled past what the source actually contains.
Can I post straight to TikTok from here?
No. There is no publishing integration to any network, and there is no queue waiting behind a coming-soon label — publishing needs a separately reviewed app per platform. You download the finished mp4 and post it yourself.
